Chris Morgan and Unusual Risks are very pleased to be once again attending a Cryonics UK meeting, this time on Saturday 13th January 2018.
Our previous visits to the Cryonics UK meetings have proved very constructive for its members, with an Insurance news update, short presentation and Q&A Sessions. It’s always a pleasure to connect with both existing clients and also any potential new ones at these meetings.
For those who have not attended a Cryonics UK meeting before here are the details from their website.

One of Cryonics UK’s functions is to provide cryonics emergency services for its members. Training weekends provide coaching for potential volunteers and seasoned team members alike in the practical business of getting cryonics patients stabilised and preserved. We also provide training, both in the UK and abroad, for cryonics groups from other countries.
Training covers a combination of theoretical and practical modules such as case management, logistics, cardio pulmonary support, induced hypothermia, stabilisation medications, perfusion, dry ice cool down, etc.
You may be a competent medical professional or a complete novice with no relevant training. If you fall into the latter category, don’t worry, many of our volunteers begin training without a medical background. Training sessions cover a lot of information which can take time to sink in. Potential volunteers typically cover two years of training weekends before reaching sufficient basic competence to assist on a live case.
If you are unsure whether or not volunteering is for you, feel free to come along to observe. If you have signed up for cryonics or are thinking about it, training weekends will provide an insight into the processes and issues involved. You can also meet like-minded people who will be less likely than most to think that you are crazy!
Attendance is free of charge and there is no need to book. Just turn up and join in!
Please be aware that training sessions may be attended by film/documentary makers, photographers or journalists. If you do not wish to be filmed, photographed or mentioned, you can request this on the day.
Please note there is also a meeting on the 16th to 17th September 2017, which more details can be found here at this link
